My Apologies

Hi Everybody! Let me start with an apology for not updating this in a while. Things have been very hectic this past few weeks as we settle into our life here in Hays. In addition, my computer now has a new hard drive, and I'm just getting things back to normal. So, a few updates:

Kamryn: She now has FOUR teeth!! Yep, the little girl is growing up. As for crawling, though? Nope! But that doesn't mean she is not mobile! She sits on her bottom and scoots herself all over the place. The other day she actually had carpet burns from scooting so much and so fast!

Logan: Logan is doing much better with the potty training now. In fact, today he went the whole day with no accidents! That is a first for him, so he got a special treat. He is very much looking forward to his birthday party next month, which will be Mickey Mouse (and other Disney characters). He is also looking forward to seeing everybody! Invitations will be mailed next week, but know that you are all invited!

Lori is really enjoying being at home with the kids, though she is going to have to find at least a part-time job for now. She is doing lesson plans with the kids every day, and when it has been warm enough they walk to one of the parks that is nearby.

I am having a lot of fun, but am struggling with how to spend my time. There is a lot to be done, so I am praying for wisdom concerning as to what I should personally be doing, what can/should be delegated and what can be dropped altogether. I have also written my first column piece for the local paper and am very excited to hear the feedback. I have also been given the nickname "Boss" by Ken (aka The General) :-)

It has been a really rich time for us these past few weeks, and we are so enjoying getting to know the church family that God has blessed us with here. It truly is a blessing for us to be here.

I am going to teach Lori how to update the blog, but we still are down to just one computer right now, but hopefully between the two of us we can keep the photos and blog entries coming!
